A Parish Deacon at Christ Church, Arlene is actively involved in social justice, bringing the concerns of the secular world to the attention of the church. An active leader in the parish’s Social Justice Action Team, Arlene organizes and participates in many activities throughout the year, including monthly community dinners for the homeless. A retired university counsellor and teacher, Arlene continues to work part-time as a tutor at Athabasca University in the Women’s Studies department.
