“How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity.” -Psalm 133

As we celebrate the gift that is the presence of the Droubi family within our community, we work towards welcoming more of God’s children to dwell with us in safety. To that end, we are currently beginning the process to bring the Al-Hawamdah Family into our community. The Al-Hawamadah’s are a Syrian family, currently living in Lebanon, that has been displaced by war. We expect that their application process will take up to three years, but we know already just how quickly those years will fly by.

Christ Church has committed to raising $70,000 over the next three years to ensure the Al-Hawamdah family is able to come and dwell with us in safety, as well as providing the necessary support for the first year that they are in Edmonton.

Along with special events to raise funds, we ask you to consider giving a gift to help support this family.

To contribute and pledge support to the Refugee Family Pledge, fill out the pledge forms that will be available at the Church and return it to the office.
