Welcome to our Church.

Loving God & Loving Others

What to Expect

Worship is at the centre of life at Christ Church. Whether you are a lifelong Anglican, from another faith tradition, exploring your faith, or just visiting, you are welcome to join us in worship.

As an Anglican Church, our Sunday worship services follow participatory liturgies while also including hymns, prayers, and communion. Our 8 a.m. service is a quiet service from the Book of Common Prayer, while our 10 a.m. service is a lively service which uses the liturgy of the Book of Alternative Services.

Every week we have priests who inspire us with engaging sermons; as well as the opportunity for children to join Rev. Sue at the front of the church for a song or a science experiment. We also celebrate Jesus in the breaking of the bread each Sunday. We take every service here at Christ Church as an opportunity to reflect, to share, and to focus and fill ourselves up for the week ahead.

While children are always welcome in our services, we also have a regularly staffed nursery, as well as a lively Sunday School program to which children are invited at the end of the Children’s Talk.

Please consider staying after the service for ‘Ron’s Brew’ coffee, enjoying the spirit of fellowship and community as you catch up with neighbours and friends (old and new)!

Here at Christ Church we embrace the opportunity to meet new people, sharing our lives and our faith in an inclusive and welcoming space.

What Should I Wear?

We don’t believe that dress and spirituality are connected. As such, you’ll see more jeans than suits or even dress shirts. We encourage you to come as you are.

What’s Available for Children?

We care passionately about introducing children to the love of God in Jesus Christ, and so we extend a warm welcome to any families interested in exploring our growing children’s ministry. We currently have a group of children ranging from kindergarten to grade 6 being served, with our youngest members (0-3) being staffed by our volunteer nursery staff.

Sunday Services With Children and Babies

Every Sunday during the 10 a.m. service, Children’s Ministry provides engaging programming that gives kids from kindergarten to grade 6 the opportunity to know, love, and follow Jesus, while having fun and making friends. Children are invited to attend either Sunday School or the nursery after the Children’s Talk has concluded. The Sunday School gathers in the large classroom downstairs for a bible story, games, a craft, prayers and play. After that the kids will return to service — just in time to join their families for communion.

Babies and children are always welcome to stay with their guardians during service, and guardians are encouraged to join us in our Sunday School to see what it’s all about.
