Christ Church Garden Concerts
Join your neighbours on the lawn of Christ Church every Wednesday in July and August. You are sure to enjoy an evening of music. From jazz to folk, from Baroque to beach … there is music for everyone this summer. Concerts are free and begin at 7PM each week. Bring your lawn chair and a friend and we’ll see you on the lawn!
Who we are.
Here at Christ Church we are a community of ordinary people who want to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We are families with toddlers, tweens, and teenagers. We are single students and professionals in early, mid and late careers. Some of us are retired and some of us are almost there! We are binary and non-binary, queer and straight. Some of us are partnered or married and many of us are single. We are all, in our own ways, seeking to grow in our faith, serve our community and follow Jesus each and everyday. We are committed to ensuring full and inclusive participation for all in our community and are dedicated to removing barriers that have been experienced by sexual and gender minorities, racialized persons, visible minorities and Indigenous people.
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather in Treaty Six Territory is the traditional gathering place for many Indigenous people. We honour and respect this history, languages, ceremonies and culture of the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit who call this territory home.
