Lenten Book Study Tuesdays in Lent beginning on March 11th @ 7PM
This Lent, Bishop Jane and friends will be leading a study of “Wild Bright Hope”. This is the 2025 'Big Church Read' from the UK. The book is a great resource on the power and strength of Hope. There are 12 chapters each by a different author and the themes include Seeds of Unity, Wild Paths of Peace, A Vision for Hope in Politics, and Hope in Suffering. This book leads us to take a fresh perspective and find hope even in these challenging times. We will take two short chapters each week. We have some copies available in the office for purchase OR but you can easily purchase the book, either a hard copy or a kindle version,
To sign up for the study please use the sign up sheet in the parish hall OR email the office

Through the Dark - A Lenten Retreat Saturday, April 5 from 9:30am to 1:30pm
Life is a pilgrimage of twists and turns, highs and lows. During Lent, we have the opportunity to acknowledge our valley experiences and give ourselves permission to lament. In this half-day retreat, you are invited to enter into some of the hard events of Holy Week, leading to Jesus' crucifixion. Through contemplative prayer practices and personal reflection time, you are given space to consider the tough places in your own life stories.
How might Jesus' experience speak solace and sustenance to your soul?
Please note, there will be opportunities to share but this is not an expectation. You are free to share or not share.
Refreshments and lunch included.
What to bring: Pen/pencil, a notebook, an open and attentive heart.
cost: $25
to sign up please email the office
*the retreat will be led by Witty Sandle (spiritual director and retreat facilitaor)
